Enchanting

Enchanting your Equipment, takes the rarity up to one level and grants the corresponding number of secondary effects. Common Equipment and Augments can not be enchanted. You can enchant an item up to Legendary rarity.

Pieces that are already legendary can't be enchanted further.

Level	Effect	Cost
Enchant Level 1	Changes item rarity from Uncommon to Rare. Adds 1 secondary effect.	500 Electrum  5 Sunsteel
Enchant Level 2	Chances item rarity from Rare to Epic. Adds 1 secondary effect.	1000 Electrum 10 Sunsteel 1 Dragonsteel
Enchant Level 3	Changes item rarity from Epic to Legendary. Adds 1 secondary effect	2000 Electrum 20 Sunsteel 3 Dragonsteel

Upgrading

Upgrade your gear using Resources up to five times. Each upgrade has a fixed cost depending on the type of equipment. Upgrade boosts the stat the piece of Equipment grants.

Once you reach upgrade level 3, you can boost permanently one of the secondary effects your equipment already has.

Equipment once upgraded 5 times, lets you choose a Masterwork Trait. A Masterwork Trait is another secondary effect that can be added to the three ones it already has.

In the next table you will see the base cost of the 5 upgrade levels an their effects. Once your equipment reaches a certain level, the cost increases.
