Dual Blades |
Inner Focus: You enter Inner Focus, granting you a damage bonus for a short time. Activating Inner Focus when more than one segment of the charge bar is highlighted will yield higher damage bonuses for each additional segment. | Mortal Coil: Throw your off-hand blade and pull the enemy towards you. If it strikes a boss, you are pulled towards the boss instead. This technique does not consume any of your Inner Focus charge bar. |
Greatswords |
Whirlwind: Launch yourself forward and spin your Greatsword to attack nearby Enemies multiple times. | Great Throw: Throw your Greatsword to deal damage to Enemies in its path. A well-timed throw may also hit Enemies as the Greatsword returns to you. |
Longswords |
Spectral Flurry: Eviscerate a single enemy with a series of damaging cuts. | Spiral Technique: Slide forward and perform a powerful slash against all Enemies in your path. At the end of the weapon technique, a follow-up attack can be performed to damage nearby Enemies if Timing Attacks are unlocked on the Skill Grid. |
Polearms |
Polearm Slam: Leap into the air and slam the ground dealing damage to nearby Enemies. | Javelin Throw: Throw your Polearm to deal damage and Blind a single target, stunning them briefly. |
Warhammers |
Concussive Smash: Slam your Warhammer into the ground to deal damage to nearby Enemies and stunning them briefly. | Unstoppable Force: Slam your Warhammer into the ground to deal damage to Enemies in a straight line. |

How exactly do I do the Longsword followup attack to the Southern Technique? I have Timing Attacks maxed out but I can’t tell what the proper timing and input is. I’ve only ever done is once by accident and it completely changes the usefulness of the R2 technique. How do I do it consistently?
