The Best Defense is a Merit of the Combat category in Godfall. The Best Defense tasks you to use the Shield Throw ability to hit an Enemy a certain number of times. Merits in Godfall act as an in-game achievement system, that rewards you once one of their three ranks (Bronze, Silver or Gold) is achieved. You can obtain Experience Points and Resources  by completing Merits
